Sunday I knew there would be a lot of down time with two football games to watch and I was determined to finish the Sunshine Shawl that I had started the week before. There was only about twelve inches or so to complete but that is the point when I start thinking of the next shawl and get bored with what I am working on.
Determined to finish, I think I put the last stitch in before the Patriot and Colts kick off.
Sitting back and pleased with my accomplishment, I had a light bulb moment. When I started on the shawl the week before I was using an I (5.5mm) hook, when I finished I was using a J (6.mm) hook. Oops. Sure hope a little blocking will help ease in the excess.
I have a doctors appointment tomorrow, you know what that means------I will be close to Michael's and Joann. Both are having yarn sales-----lucky me.
