Aubergine, isn't that a wonderful word, it congers up all kinds of images of regal velvet robes. Last week I finished #8 Prayer Shawl, using Deborah Norville's Everyday yarn in luscious aubergine. Using a crosshatch stitch that I derived from a scarf pattern that I had made previously. I increased the starting chain length to get the proper width and used my favorite J hook. Love the way it turned out and will definitely use this pattern again.
You can find the original scarf pattern here on Ralvery.
We had a very quiet Memorial Day, so I got a good start on the next Prayer Shawl, more on that shawl soon.
Remember, yarn is cheaper than therapy.
